Holly Morgan, M.Ed., is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC. Holly brings nearly two decades of experience as a coach, mentor, and educator, working with youth, families, and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her journey in education and competitive coaching has equipped her with a deep understanding of the challenges young people and their families face, as well as invaluable skills in communication, mentorship, and fostering resilience, which now inform her counselling practice.
Holly’s expertise in competitive sport drives her passion for working with individuals facing challenges in their mental performance across various sports and activities. Holly has also worked extensively with adults in substance use recovery, disordered eating, relationship issues, and career counselling, further enriching her practice.
She integrates a collaborative, strengths-based approach with principles of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and somatic practices to support clients in reconnecting to their bodies, navigating mental blocks and obstacles, and cultivating balance in their lives. She offers individual counselling and specializes in helping clients build resilience, manage life transitions, and develop tools for self-regulation and well-being.
With expertise in competitive sport and a keen interest in sport psychology, Holly also supports individuals striving to enhance their mental performance in athletics. She draws upon her background in coaching and mentorship to help clients build resilience, manage pressure, and optimize their mental well-being in all aspects of their training.
Holly’s practice integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic practices, and strengths-based approaches. Her work spans sport performance, substance use recovery, disordered eating, career transitions, and the pressures of academic life. Holly’s approach is grounded in collaboration and empowerment, supporting clients as they develop self-regulation skills, cultivate balance, and achieve their personal goals.
